Pinjarra SHS is dedicated to looking after and improving our students wellbeing. Wellbeing is a complex combination of a person’s physical, mental, emotional and social health. In short, wellbeing could be described as how you feel about yourself and your life.
Whilst our PBS initiative helps to address some of these aspects Pinjarra SHS has become part of the federal governments BeYou school initiative. To support our students’ we are incorporating the BeYou resources into scheduled weekly Pastoral care lessons whereby students receive teacher directed instruction, proactive group discussion and activities to support and improve individual student wellbeing.
We have a dedicated Student Services team that provides specialised and individualised wellbeing support (Click here for more information).
