Students in Year 8 to 10 can choose their Elective courses. This creates a more individualised program where students have the opportunity to build on and develop skills in the areas of their preferred courses.

These elective courses are run in addition to the compulsory courses of English, Maths, Science, Humanities & Social Sciences (HASS), and Health & Physical Education.

High Cost Electives

Some of the electives on offer in Years 8 – 10 are high cost options. The cost of choosing these electives will be in addition to the $235 voluntary contribution. If a high cost elective is chosen, parents/carers will need to make payment for this elective prior to commencing the course. Please contact the Payments Office for further details.

Entry Requirements

Some of the Electives available have specific entry requirements attached. Students selecting Outdoor Education or any course run in a workshop (such as Materials Design and Technology or Automotive) will need to demonstrate their eligibility. Where students do not meet the eligibility requirements, they will need to select an alternative option. Details can be found in the Lower School Prospectus booklet.
